FAQs

Will using a booster cause energy loss?

Yes.There will be a 2%-6% power loss during the 12V to 48V conversion process.

Why does the booster get hot?

Because the booster dissipates some of the electrical energy as heat. Therefore, it generates heat during operation. This is especially noticeable under high load, prolonged use, or in high-temperature environments.

What to do if the booster overheats severely?

If the booster overheats severely, it is recommended to check the following:

Ensure that the load does not exceed the rated power of the booster
Check the heat dissipation of the booster and ensure proper ventilation
Inspect the booster for any damage

Can both S1 Pro and S2 Pro use a booster?

Yes, both the S1 Pro and S2 Pro support 12V and 24V boosting.

Works exactly as it should

Bought this to run my S2 Pro off my RV's 24V system. Plug and play once you wire it in. The unit stays cool during operation and the copper terminals are heavy-duty. I've been running it for a few weeks now with no issues. If you're planning to use the S2 Pro while driving or want to skip the inverter, this converter is essential. Definitely recommend getting it with the AC if you're doing vehicle installs.

Clean power, no issues

Installed this in my camper van to power the S2 Pro from the 12V house battery. Works perfectly. The converter runs cool even after hours of use and the power delivery is stable. I was worried about voltage drops or interference, but everything runs smooth. The copper terminals make a secure connection and the unit feels well-made. If you're planning to hardwire your setup, this is the way to go. Don't try to cheap out with a generic converter — get the official one.

Essential for off-grid vehicle use

This converter is a must if you want to run the S2 Pro directly from your vehicle battery. I wired it into my truck's secondary battery and now I can run the AC while parked without idling the engine. Saves fuel and keeps things quiet. The copper ring terminals are solid and the wiring instructions were clear. Been using it for over a month with zero issues. Highly recommend if you're doing any kind of overlanding or truck camping.

Must-have for vehicle power

If you want to run the S2 Pro directly off your vehicle's 12V system, you need this. I hardwired it into my truck's auxiliary battery and it works flawlessly. The copper ring terminals make for a solid connection — no flimsy clips or adapters. Draws power efficiently and I've had zero issues running the AC on Eco+ mode overnight without killing my battery. Installation was straightforward if you're comfortable with basic electrical work.
